NCAA Tournament

I just saw a video on WISH TV of the teams reaction after seeing the announcement on CBS. The Bulldogs were stunned and silent. If WISH TV posts videos about Butler I will post links.

I am also extremely disappointed that Butler got shafted in the seeding process. I will post a link to a Dawgnet article with my thoughts when its posted.

I think the fact that so many people said we were overrated all year, finally got to the decision makers. I am upset, but at the same time, this could be good for us considering we always do pretty well when we are underestimated. All we can do is hope now. I don't want to say for sure that we will make it past Southern Alabama (although I think we will) but it is Tennessee that I am worried about.

I was with a bunch of people watching the selection show and we were shocked. It came out of nowhere. I see it as a total slap in the face. I don't think there was anything more we could have done...except perhaps beat Drake. But, really, that is, in my opinion, ridiculous. I was convinced that we deserved a 4 seed...or AT LEAST a 5. But a 7? Really!? What is with this committee loving to shaft Butler?

And, after the selection show, I watched some Bracketology analysis. I don't remember the name of the guy offhand, but one of the analysts commented on Butler's surprisingly low seed, and the other analyst said something along the lines of any team from the Horizon Leauge NEVER deserving a seed any higher than 6. I couldn't believe such a naive, prejudiced comment came out of his mouth. He better get off his high BCS horse, because he'll soon be eating his words as our Dawgs take town some big boys before this is all over!

7 seed my behind.

WTF selection committee? Do you constantly have to prove to us that you clearly have no idea what's going outside the realm of the big name programs? ... and Xavier a No. 3!!! They didn't even win the conference tournament!!!!!!! They lost to St. Joe's twice at the end of the season, including in the semifinal game of the tournament.

This system is more flawed than the BCS.

I know six reasons that we should have a higher seed-

1, 4, 10, 32, 34, 54

hahaha, I like that Kate, I will go even further to say the entire team is the reason to have a higher seed.
