Bulldogs move up in the polls

The Bulldogs are now ranked #16 in the AP poll and #18 in the coaches poll. They went up 2 spots in the AP poll and 1 in the coaches poll. I did not expect them to go up much since they only had 1 game last week. What is your opinion, is this were you expected the dawgs to be in the polls this week compared to last week?

This weeks schedule:
Home vs. Bradley, Wednesday 7:00
at Florida Golf Coast, Saturday 7:00

Well, I expected the dawgs to be around the same rank since they won again against a non-ranked team. However, the AP and Coaches rankings don't really mean anything so I don't care about it at all.
At the end of the season, the RPI is all that matters.

Honestly, that is about where I thought we would be ranked this week. I mean, we really bounced back well after some poor offensive games against Detroit and "W2U" (I hate them).

Really, how is it that we make a stand each time we play tougher teams with height advantages, but we can't easily take care of the weaker teams? It makes me sick, and it is definitely something we need to work on. I realize that away games in the Horizon League are difficult and that we have a target on our backs, but, really, is that any different than last year? No. I have no doubt that we'll make a solid run when it comes to the NCAA tournament this year, but we need to beat up on the weak teams. No excuses.

Anyway, I'm ranting. So to repeat my answer to the posed question: No, I am not surprised. But I still know we are better than 16th in the nation. We just need to prove it.
