Butler 57, SIU 55

It was A.J. Graves and his clutch buzzer shot that won the game for Butler against Southern Illinois. The lead went back and forth throughout the game resulting in a surprising win. Despite the fact that a three-pointer won the game, free throws made the difference. While Southern Illinois made 3 of 12 free throws, Butler made 21 of their 30. Graves finished with 10 points, not the game high or his career high, but his last shot made all the difference. This win closes out Butler's 2007 games. They play next at home against Horizon League newcomer, Valparaiso (10-2) on January 5.
